This policy explains how Sustainly s.r.o., IČO 21802106, Dlouhá 3403/2b, 702 00 Ostrava, Czech Republic ("Sustainly", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on sustainly.tech. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and — where you consent — measure how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.

2. Consent

We set strictly necessary cookies without asking, because the site cannot function without them. This is permitted under Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications.

Google Analytics starts with analytics storage denied. Before you make a choice, it does not set analytics cookies and receives only limited cookieless visit, campaign, contact-link and sample-report download signals. If you accept, it also measures the detailed interactions described below. If you reject analytics, measurement stops and you can continue using the site. The Cookie settings control in the footer lets you change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops further measurement and removes first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

With your consent, Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic source and campaign parameters, article scroll and active-reading milestones, qualified article reads, report-CTA visibility, article and navigation link clicks, sample-report downloads and contact conversions. Event parameters use public page paths and article slugs, content category and language, CTA placement, report type and PDF filename. We do not send names, email addresses or account identifiers. Advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, where used, do not set cookies and do not track visitors across websites.

4. Third-party providers and international transfers

Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited, with data processing potentially involving Google LLC in the United States. Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, together with the additional measures set out in our agreement with Google.

Website analytics data is separate from the business data our customers upload to the Sustainly platform, which is processed and stored within the European Union as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond our cookie settings, most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their own settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, including signing in.

6. Legal basis and retention

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies are set on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data collected through analytics is retained for a maximum of 14 months.
