Cookie Policy

Version 1.0
Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Sustainly s.r.o., IČO 21802106, Dlouhá 3403/2b, 702 00 Ostrava, Czech Republic ("Sustainly", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on sustainly.tech. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and — where you consent — measure how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.

We set strictly necessary cookies without asking, because the site cannot function without them. This is permitted under Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications.

All other cookies — including analytics — are set only after you consent through our cookie banner. Until you accept, they are not loaded. You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our website footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and where they encounter difficulty, so that we can improve the site. We have enabled IP anonymisation and have not enabled advertising features or cross-site tracking. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, where used, do not set cookies and do not track visitors across websites.

4. Third-party providers and international transfers

Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited, with data processing potentially involving Google LLC in the United States. Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, together with the additional measures set out in our agreement with Google.

Website analytics data is separate from the business data our customers upload to the Sustainly platform, which is processed and stored within the European Union as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can also install Google's browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond our cookie settings, most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their own settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, including signing in.

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies are set on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data collected through analytics is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when we add or remove cookies, and will ask for fresh consent where the change requires it. For any question about this policy, contact info@sustainly.tech.
